Hi!

My name is Sally Ferguson and I live in the beautiful countryside of Jamestown, NY with my hubby, and my dad. My son, his wife, and my three grands live just a few miles away. My daughter and her hubby live in Indiana.

I have been a freelance writer since 1996. Over 160 devotionals have been published in Pathways to God (Warner Press). I’ve also written for Light From The Word (Wesleyan Publishing House), Becoming Women of Worth: Stories of Sugar N’ Spice and Recipes for the Holidays, Becoming Women of Worth: Stories of Trauma & Triumph, A Cup of Comfort: Devotional for Mothers and Daughters, Chautauqua Mirror, Just Between Us, Adult Span Curriculum and Thriving Family. Warner Press released my coloring book, What Will I Be When I Grow Up? January 2006.

Other compilations I have contributed to can be found on my Amazon Author Page.

As a speaker, I enjoy connecting with women and seeing them find affirmation for the phase of life they face daily. I am passionate about helping women find encouragement from God’s Word, as well as supplying the tools to help them apply what they’ve learned there.

I love organizing retreats and seeing relationships blossom when we take time away from our daily routine. My ebook, How to Plan a Women’s Retreat, tells the story of how that passion has evolved. The workbook walks you through the process of planning and praying over your own event. Our Women’s Retreat just celebrated its 15th Anniversary!

Join me on the journey!

  1. Hi Sally,

I was on BookSirens and saw your name as “Top 10 Christian Book reviewers” and wanted to reach out to see if you might be interested in reviewing the book I released a couple of months ago…(self published with the help of a professional author and marketing person!).

The title of the book is: “Is That You God?: God is always speaking to us..but are we listening?”

The book is a compilation of personal stories of how I have heard God’s voice at different times in my life. Not audibly, but through dreams, music, nature, supernatural experiences, and other people!

I would love to send you a book so that you can help spread the inspiration and hope that I beleive my stories can have for others.

I look forward to hearing from you!

    God Bless
    Mike

  2. Hi Sally, it is a joy to read your devotionals. I have so many wonderful memories of your family & the camping we did together. Trust your dad is doing ok & all is well with your family.

  3. Sally, Michael Gantt here. I am currently cruising at about 30,000 feet headed back home from the west coast. Someone posing as you on instagram just contacted me with a bogus message. After a couple of questions, I determined that it was in fact NOT you and I both blocked them and reported them. However, you might want to look in to it. Otherwise, I’m doing fine and trust you are as well.

  4. Sally, I also write for Pathways. How do you like their new format? I think it’s quite an improvement. Another connection: my husband and I live in a 3-generation home with our daughter and her husband and their son and his wife. Getting along fine for we love and help each other. Oh yes, we added two puppies to the mix recently.

    1. Hi Ann!
Pathways to God is a staple for many readers. I’m sure it will be good, once we get used to the change in format. 😉
Sounds like you’re enjoying your family & pups. It can be a great way to nurture relationships across the generational lines!

  5. Tough times that I am thankful for would be my early life of sexual abuse and my response to it, because God saved me from myself and showed me His healing grace so that I am able to help others who have been afflicted in the same way.

I would not be here today if God had not allowed me to see that He is for me and not against me. I love Him more and more each day.
